COVID-19 Policy

WELCOME

The Vail Dance Festival is pleased to return to the stage July 30 – Aug. 9 at the outdoor Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and Avon Performance Pavilion at Nottingham Park venues.

As permitted by current State of Colorado and Eagle County guidelines, the Festival is operating at up-to-100% capacity at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and Avon Performance Pavilion at Nottingham Park, without any social distancing or mask requirements. While masks are not required, we aim to welcome all guests with or without a mask and to provide an enjoyable experience for all.

  • Face coverings at Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater will be optional. All individuals, whether they choose to wear a face covering or not, will be welcomed and respected.
  • Capacity at both performance venues will be at-or-near 100% with no social distancing requirements.
  • At this time, we are requiring guests to wear face coverings at indoor Fringe events such as Conversations on Dance Festival Forums and Master Classes. Health and Safety Protocols for fringe events and masterclasses will be communicated to all attendees at least one week prior to the event.

We thank everyone for their patience and understanding with one another, and our employees, as we make the transition to our traditional protocols.

Note: Visiting productions may elect to follow increased health and safety protocols that may impact staff and production crews. These protocols will not affect the general Vail Dance Festival audience.
