Festival Artistic Director Damian Woetzel presents an all-star cast in a rehearsal-style performance, featuring new works at the 2018 Festival, specifically focusing on the relationship of dance and music. This UpClose will highlight the Festival’s Leonard Bernstein Composer-In-Residence, the Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw, and the world premiere to her work, choreographed by Justin Peck in his first Festival commission. This performance will also feature the Vail premiere of Blueprint with choreography by Pam Tanowitz and music by Caroline Shaw.
