ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE

The Vail Dance Festival is celebrating two Artists-In-Residence this year, choreographer, Caili Quan, and New York City Ballet soloist, Roman Mejia. Quan first came to VDF as a dancer in 2014, while Mejia made his debut for Vail audiences in 2017. In the years since, both have become beloved audience favorites. They will join the ‘Conversations On Dance’ podcast to talk about Quan’s world premieres at VDF this year, featuring Mejia’s talents and a new commission by composer Caroline Shaw, her second of the season. Please note: 'Conversations On Dance’ co-host, Rebecca King Ferraro, will be on maternity leave this summer.  These live events will be hosted by Michael Sean Breeden with special guest hosts throughout the festival. A limited number of tickets are sold to each LIVE recording of Conversations on Dance during the Vail Dance Festival.
