The Vail Dance Festival is looking for a group of dance enthusiasts to join the Festival team as Festival Ambassadors. Ambassadors will act as stewards to the Festival working to spread the word about the Festival and educating the community about the programming while also helping with daily Festival operations. The Ambassador’s commitment will require a hands-on approach, comfort in speaking to the general public, and a greater understanding of the Festival’s history and programming. The goal of the Program is to empower Ambassadors to develop a variety of life and work skills through their Ambassador experience while contributing to the successful execution of the Vail Dance Festival.
Ambassador positions are open to students who will have completed 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th or 12th grade by Spring 2026. Being detail-oriented, time-efficient, and well-organized, as well as keeping a positive and joyful mindset will be crucial. Ambassadors will work closely with Festival staff, patrons, and artists and will be considered an integral part of the overall success of the Festival.
The commitment is 40 hours and will be completed prior to and during the Festival dates. All participants will receive a Festival t-shirt and a Student Performance Plus Pass valid for all performances at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater.
