Celebrate the Beat Summer
Celebration Team & Pop Hop Camp
The Summer Celebration Team and Pop Hop Camp are FREE arts education dance programs brought in partnership with Celebrate the Beat and the Vail Dance Festival. The Summer Celebration Team runs from July 7 – August 1, with auditions required to participate. Pop Hop Camp is a one-week program focused on teamwork, creativity and the joy of accomplishment through dance. The program culminates in a performance at the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater during Vail Dance Festival’s International Evenings of Dance I. Registration is required for both programs and closes on May 16.
The Celebrate the Beat program was introduced in Eagle County in 2007 by Celebrate the Beat Founder, Tracy Straus and Vail Dance Festival Artistic Director, Damian Woetzel. Celebrate the Beat is an affiliate program of the National Dance Institute.
The Vail Dance Festival underwrites the Summer Celebration Team and Pop Hop Camp in Eagle County and at the Vail Dance Festival!
