We’re excited to expand our Community Arts Access (CAA) program to include FREE TICKETS to Vail Dance Festival performances. This community-focused program is an initiative of the Vail Valley Foundation, which operates and programs the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater as well as the Vail Dance Festival. CAA is designed to connect Eagle River Valley locals with the performing arts by providing FREE TICKETS.
A minimum of four tickets are up for grabs for each of the performances listed in the ‘request tickets’ form below. Eligible individuals may choose three performances they would like to attend. CAA tickets are distributed via a lottery system and are intended for Eagle River Valley full-time residents. Tickets will be issued in pairs and lottery winners will be notified one week before the performance.

In addition to offering free tickets to locals, we partner with cross-sector community organizations to distribute free tickets to each of our world-class performances. This program was introduced in 2016 to further the Festival’s commitment to making the arts accessible and available to everyone and expose the art of dance to new audiences. This program builds on existing Vail Dance Festival outreach programs, which offer free lawn tickets for children 12 and under as well as discounted lawn tickets for students and faculty. Furthermore, we dedicate the Dance for $20.25 performance as an evening devoted to arts accessibility by capping ticket prices at $20.25 for pavilion seats and $10.25 for lawn seats. We also offer free performances such as Dancing in the Streets in Vail and Dancing in the Park in Avon.

The Vail Valley Foundation works to broaden perspectives, empower our community, and uplift the people. That’s why Community Arts Access is so important to us. Similar to Vail Dance Festival, CAA offerings are available for Amp Summer Concerts and performances at the Vilar Performing Arts Center.
