Dancing in the Streets: Martha Graham Dance Company
Thursday Jul 30, 2026 5:30 pm
Immerse yourself in the world of classical artistry with Carla Körbes, legendary former Principal Dancer with Pacific Northwest Ballet and New York City Ballet, and newly appointed Ballet Chair at The Juilliard School. Celebrated by critics for her luminous stage presence and deeply organic musicality, Ms. Körbes brings her extensive experience as a master educator to the studio for an unforgettable training session.
Dancers will begin with a refined technique class focusing on upper-body fluidity, precise footwork, and artistic intentionality. To conclude this extraordinary experience, Ms. Körbes will guide students through the breathtaking, iconic opening section of George Balanchine’s masterpiece, Serenade. Don’t miss this rare, deeply inspiring opportunity to learn one of classical ballet’s most sacred pieces of choreography from a true master of the craft.
