Alonzo King LINES Ballet, led by Alonzo King, proclaimed as a visionary choreographer who is altering the way we look at ballet. Renowned for his skill as a teacher and educator he has received numerous awards and honorary doctorates from prestigious institutions. Every member of the AKLB embody his extraordinary philosophies of education. This is a rare opportunity to experience the extraordinary world of Alonzo King. The Vail Dance Festival hosts a series of Master Classes each summer with Festival artists from July 25-August 5.
Students have the opportunity to take classes from some of the dance world’s best and brightest in ballet, tap, jazz, repertory, ballroom and more.
Proper dance shoes are required for each class. No rings, dangling earrings, or necklaces. Hair should be neatly pulled back into a bun or ponytail.
