Class Description: Martha Graham left an indelible mark on the dance world through the dances and techniques she created. Graham’s technique has become a foundational part of dance and dance education, and her works have engaged performers across dance genres. Don’t miss this extraordinary chance to experience Graham’s technique and the unmistakable style that has forever altered the art form.

EVENT DETAILS
The Vail Dance Festival hosts a series of Master Classes each summer with Festival artists from July 31-August 10.
Students have the opportunity to take classes from some of the dance world’s best and brightest in ballet, tap, jazz, repertory, ballroom and more.
- This class will be taught at an advanced level and is intended for pre-professional students. Must be 14 years or older to participate.
- Classes are 80 minutes long.
- Please check in 15 minutes prior to class in the Vail Mountain School lobby.
- THIS WAIVER must be completed prior to attending master classes.
CLASS ATTIRE:
Proper dance shoes are required for each class. No rings, dangling earrings, or necklaces. Hair should be neatly pulled back into a bun or ponytail.
- Women – Solid-colored leotard with pink, white, black, or skin-colored tights. Ballet shoes or appropriate footwear for non-ballet classes required (barefoot or socks are not permitted unless specified by the instructor). Demi skirt is optional.
- Men – Solid colored t-shirt, dance pants or tights. Ballet shoes or appropriate footwear for non-ballet classes are required (barefoot or socks are not permitted unless specified by the instructor).

$30 | participate
$15 | observe (parent, guardian, or dance instructor)
**Ticket sales close at 8:00pm the night before the class.
